Hmm, might not be the right place to post this but, i just downloaded and watched the live-action movie of Honey and Clover.

Not as dramatic as the anime, in fact, it was rather dull.

With English subs? Or Chinese?
It's been reported that it's not so good... kinda plain, i heard?

I've seen a few part of the movie. But it's so different from the anime or manga. Imagine Hagu n Morita having fun painting together. That's what i saw, which is not supposed to happened. I also wonder which part of the story they use in the movie or maybe it's not even related to the manga at all. Surely they won't show the Hagu arc as it will spoiled those who watch the anime.

Morita is so fake, he's crazy, greedy and doesn't take anyone seriously(except Ayu) but the Morita in the movie is like cool n friendly, wtf.

it doesn't have to be 100% following the anime or manga to be a good movie ....sigh

Just watched the Live Action of Hachikuro.

Yu Aoi as Hagu is pure . Talk about pure loli bait. Her smile is so dazzling......

The movie more or less captures the heart of the whole series but unfortunately being in movie format, alot of it is compressed. Alot of the characters seem to play very minor roles and their characters don't even have much development. If anybody who hasn't read the manga or watched the anime seen the movie, i think they'll be very confused about what is going on.

But as a fan of Hachikuro.....the movie isn't that bad for me. Yamada should've been more tsundere and Morita (edit: mistake) abit more gila.

Oh and the music is fantastic. Why? Cause its composed by Yoko Kanno.
