At first i do not really know how i getting suspend for no reason other then spam login after i getting 3102 error where my char stuck ingame while actually i already dc for half and hour. But after sending some support ticket and check official forum, i remember yesterday i make fortune by selling alot HQ material and materia and earn 150k only for yesterday. I never make this much gil before. As i cant contect SE now i suspect my account got suspended because of this reason.

source : -

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads...-amounts-of-gil

from this thread alot people claim they got suspended because selling alot expensive item in market, and some of them already contact SE customer support, their account being suspended for 72 hour regarding RMT.

thanks for reading.

And note becareful selling your things now because you might getting ban from out of no where just by selling your item in market board.

PS : no more ffxiv this weekend cry.gif

No its not needed, they need to do more investigation and target correctly else they are just banning legit customers

You cant condemn an entire race for one person that makes a mistake right

I don't think SE is that stupid to ban high amount of gil
I have a decent amount of gil and I am not ban.

Firstly. don't know how 'innocent' are you and those who get banned. I am not suggesting anything at all...

Secondly, if wrongly ban, a much proper explanation from SE is required and compensation is a must.

Whatever it is, it's a d*** move from SE to ban those with high gil that's all. You could be a suspect of illegal act that's all.

If you are innocent, go submit a ticket or call them. There must be a form or a way of communication. Good luck

Yeah, I've been reading the official forum...

From what I understand, mostly because of suspicious trading transaction on Market Board. Its not about the gils amount that you own.

And some guy mention that most of the players that got banned are from new servers.

i show you how much money i get 1 hour before my suspended. And the only things i suspect is all my expensive item i put in AH sold to player in the morning the same day i got my account ban. The only e-mail i got from SE today is about veteran reward.

Sorry, gil check as per here doesn't explain much nor it is a concrete evidence.
1 could keep in retainer.

Again, to ban due to large amount of gil is wrong and stupid
But, to ban due to high level of transaction of gil is the way to go *by way of mail or market board*

IMO, SE should and MUST investigate each and every player before dropping the ban hammer. They can check activity log of the player and from there, they can distinguish whether a player is a gil seller or an associate to one.

They cannot just ban a player due to suspect of being involved. This is VERY unfair to player, especially at the cost of your monthly renewal fee.

I would not say that TS might be an RMT.
It seems that SE might have possibly took harsh action on suspected a/c.
Due to the recent nuisance of RMT activity circulating the world of Eorzea.
Due to the game mechanism, tracing a/c might not be hard for any records of rmt activity log.
Your item that you crafted do have your ingame name imprinted on it.

It's possible that user might be involving in long hours gameplay , heavily camping on certain spot and crafting specific things to sell on the market.

At the sametime, another user which has no form of records of earning his own gil but got gil from just selling junk that makes no sense.
This suspicious user been mass buying the same item from TS.
Why suspicious? Because he does not craft item, everything stays at lv 1 or untill 10 only. Gil comes from another a/c or another same user been buying items from this a/c that sells "a" crystal for 100k.

Instead of summoning the user to the GM directly and go through the hassles, they just set him on Ban list.

I think just going through the usual routine to prove that you're not an RMT would just be fine. A simple conversation will do.

You or the staff of SE could really differentiate a legit player and a rmt.
Rmt will have difficulty in speaking proper english. They could not answer common sense question. And worst of all, they're using the same payment on one specific debit/credit card. Not 2 or 3 but over 10.

Tool flags you and autosuspends you. Its can't be manually done (investigation). Not possible considering all things. To elaborate on how supposedly innocent people are getting hit:
