QUOTE(butthead @ Mar 7 2014, 11:37 AM) the complete bodykit is actually a combination of front and rear bumper which i think is an attachment rather than complete bumper replacement, spoiler, grille and skirting.. yeah... i did said just install the spoiler will look good enuf... but she's insisting on the bodykit i am not sure but if you are planning to leave it quite stock with just the bodykit... it looks rather ugly...the fender gap just looks to huge on stock wheels and the bodykit just makes it look worst... i think you can ask your SA for 3rd party and they can show you the pics and most likely cheaper than honda modulo options... or what you can do is just get the spoiler and it looks just as good... .you can then do up the complete bodykit outside if there is any other options which fancies you better... for me...something like this looks more sleek than the modulo ones sold by honda ![]() so the pic is the mugen one right? will ask my SA about it. any idea roughly how much will that be? |

QUOTE(butthead @ Mar 7 2014, 11:50 AM) it will be around 2.5k to 3k... depends on which type... alright. thanks for the adviceyou should ask your SA see if they have anything with bodykit already fitted and show your wife... those 15 inchers looks too small already aesthetically... and you put on the bodykit... it looks worst... i'll dump some money for better looking wheels instead... |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Apr 7 2014, 05:34 PM) you can try reset the FC counter... else use fuelly.com or fuel tracking apps on your phone to track... that's the problem... my wife is driving the car, not me. so i dunno how far she drove and how much petrol she pump each trip... she doesn't know how to monitor all these stuffso i can only tell the FC from the meter in the car. and how to reset the FC counter? |

QUOTE(awongck @ Apr 25 2014, 12:28 PM) My SA said its JPJ ruling, no more autolock and 20kmph autolock. Had to get use to it during the first few days. But there is a button in the car to lock the doors, just get used to using it (though I hardly ever use that button i'm also not use to manually lock the doors cos i myself driving altis which have the autolock feature...so when i drive my wife's jazz.... |

He noticed no autolock, he send it to mechanic to fix it, not sure any electrical alteration or just jazz programming method. I only noticed it after i read the manual. great! will take a look at the manual tomorrowthe programming method for various mode can be found in page 132-136 |

after more than a month driving this jazz, still not so satisfied with the fuel consumption
b4 1st service - avg 8km/l after 1st service - avg 9km/l recently in the pass 2 weeks - 10km/l 100% city drive, no outstation. though it is improving, it is only on par with my 8 year old altis, which also avg about 10-13km/l... with mostly city drive i am actually expecting a 1.5l car would be more fuel saving than a 1.8l car... |

QUOTE(croomaniac @ May 7 2014, 04:58 PM) Mind if i ask how about your air cond usage? and which fuel brand? and how bad is your jam? I noticed that if always in low gears (searching for parking), the car is even hungrier.. aircond... the temperature i nvr set to max. daytime even hot afternoon, i only set it to 3/4, nighttime maybe around 50%I'm using Petronas and getting about 10-11 city driving, bad jam every morning.. fuel... petronas jam... kl and pj kinda jam like morning going to work and evening after work. not sure how to describe this yeah... i know jam will use more fuel compare to highway drive. as i said, with mostly city drive i am actually expecting the 1.5l jazz to perform better than my 8yo 1.8l altis (my altis also drive mostly in city area) |

QUOTE(croomaniac @ May 7 2014, 05:29 PM) My aircond is always 50% and set to 1, unless i want a quick cool then i set it to 2 for maybe 15 mins.. my jam is kota damansara jam, gila punya jem, 24/7 (all because of MRT).. yeah... my altis also first gen... still in good condition after 8 yrs and serving me well.Anyway, i think to be able to hit 10 is ok, or maybe you want to try out Petron? Coz i'm loving this fuel but the pump is nowhere near.. Anyway, i think your altis is still a champion though.. i have a colleague here that praising her mom's altis (first gen) that she said still performs as good as new and never give them headache.. but i do enjoy driving my wife's jazz. compact yet feel solid. such an ease to driving around in kl. just hopefully the FC will improve and gets better. petron not bad. used to pump that (and b4 esso and mobil). but now my credit card got offer rebate on petronas, so... jump ship dy until the offer expired This post has been edited by ckchan: May 7 2014, 05:35 PM |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ May 7 2014, 06:57 PM) your 100% city drive does not include urban highways like NKVE or Kesas or NPE...? not much urban highway... only LDP and federal, both also most of the time moving @ 60-80km/h, it'll be lucky if we can get 100km/hMorning around 1/3 temp level at speed 1. Afternoon hardly drive, else 50% speed 2. Night time same as morning, if freezes my ass off, 1/4 at speed 1. It's like the reverse on hybrid - if jam, really fuel saving, but if on constant highway, not much fuel saving... |
