if there is no VTC on i-vtec... why call it intelligent-vtec in the first place...

the timing control is the essential part of a revolution which is why Honda decided to have a new name for it instead of their older VTEC naming....the variable valve timing is there to help optimize flow into the combustion at lower rev ranges to maximize power output at all rev ranges where the design of VTEC did not really take care of...

i'm also not use to manually lock the doors cos i myself driving altis which have the autolock feature...

I noticed that as it was nearing or reached 5K it started to be a bit more sluggish (maybe due to air filter dirty kua)

Dw1 is wat honda uses currently...z1 has already been phased out...

Else u can try other atf like redline as they have dw1 equivalent atf available...

I mean, what basis as in low rpm? How much throttle is fed? I guess at 10 to 15% throttle (i have an OBD II monitor showing the relative throttle position), the car would not really be haulin' ass. But, it is moving. If you want it to accelerate faster, then it makes sense to feed more throttle which it then kicks down a gear or two and send it moving.

If you've driven a City GM3 and above. You will understand how the econ button plays with the throttle curve and shift programs. The good thing on the City GM3 is that you always can have the gear lever put in "S" and then use the paddle shift to keep it in manual mode and stick it in any gear you want. It sort of helps in some way but isn't really solving the problem.

Partly it is the shift program, partly the way the throttle is mapped, delays, lags and whatever from a DBW.

I'm a new owner (1 month+) and I feel the same too. Was wondering if it's cos still new. Feel it's difficult to push past 80 km/hr (rpm keeps getting stuck at 3-4). My previous Myvi could pick up better than my current Jazz.

But once it goes past 100 km/hr then it's smooth la. When I pull down to the S gear I don't have this "lethargy" problem but of course, will makan petrol right.

I'm not goo at technical when it comes to driving so any sifu here can teach me how to pick up better? Especially when at traffic lights. 

hi, may i know....for the service....if the range over abit, is it honda sc still acceptable? how much only will consider warranty void?
