What's more mind-boggling is that to qualify for warranty claims, my battery has to be Honda certified specs. Meaning if your original battery dies within 3- or 5-year warranty period, you will have to buy a battery from Honda SC, else if you buy and install outside, say bye bye to your warranty.

If your car battery dies outside somewhere, would you call a tow truck to have your car dragged back to Honda SC, or look for the nearest workshop to replace battery...? Which is more logical to you...?

I got my Jazz E a few days ago.
Honda Malaysia has included some new clauses in the manual to cover themselves against damage claim due to illegal electronic/electrical modifications; warranty becomes null and void.
Be careful.
