hi lowyat users here, i want to get a lens but i have a tight budget better if below 1k

Im just a intermediate photographer..currently just using Canon 700D+ 18-55 STM lens and 50mm f1.8..

I prefer more on landscape/flower (macro) photograph..

currently im thinking to get a zoom lens or maybe a macro lens..not sure which 1 is good..
i got did research on some lenses such as Canon 55-250, canon 75-300, canon 70-300, or 50mm macro
third party lenses such as tamron 18-270, tamron sp 90mm..

maybe i did too much research till very blur now duno which to get..i hope u guys can help out..

U kenot get landscape & macro in 1 lens
Actually flower isn't so macro
Macro more on insects
Ur 18-55mm can kawtim the flower
Want it closer, just add close-up +1, +2 or +3 filter
Ur 18-55mm also can landscape but not so wide

All lens in ur mind are tele zoom lens
Not suitable for landscape/macro
Suitable for "skodeng" only

for landscape try EF-S 10-22.

EF-S lenses can only be used on APS-C bodies, from from eos xxxD, xxD to 7D.

EF can be used on all eos bodies including the 5D and 6D. they have full frame sensor. They get a wider field of view for the same focal length compared to aps-c. 18mm = around 28mm on full frame.

u can invest on EF lenses and use them on aps-c bodies. But not all, like the 16-35, made as an ultra wide angle on full frame. But become a wide to standard zoom on aps-c.
