hi.. My son already took 3 jabs.. the fourth will be next year (when he is 1 yr ++ ). Jabs were taken at Hospital UMRA Section 13, Shah Alam (nearby Shah Alam stadium). Actually those who delivered their babies at UMRA can get optional vaccination at even cheaper price (RM699 for Pneumococcal + Rotavirus + mother's Pap smear) provided that you pay for them during the first week after birth. In my case, I was thinking to pay them another visit after I sent my wife and son back to her hometown but at last I forgot.. Damn... Rugi...

p/s: I don't know if the same promotion still available at UMRA. That was on January 2013

pneumoccocal and rotavirus vaccines are not listed in the compulsory list of immunizations by the government. However i will still get these 2 jabs for my kids as they are getting more and more common.

From my pead, the total course for both vaccines is abt RM1k to RM 1.2k.

According to my doctor, Rotavirus vaccine is not via jabs. It is taken orally. So, it should be cheaper than pneumococcal vaccine.
