although you can follow this path,
for me, after Main Quest ended, i beat ifrit HM first, grind to get my Ifrit Weapon
then i go to Amdapor Keep(AK), i believe in AK..if u dont have a good gear, you need a good party though for completion.

My question is how to DPS check? Is there a way to check a player's gears? By the look of it?

You can right click the person and click examine.

Do bear in mind that DPS can still sucks with good gear.
Seen it myself first hand on player with Ifrit/Garuda/Relic gears

Nothing better than a summoner in AK doing nothing but Ruin II for the whole 40 minutes.

the other dps must have been pretty good if manage to clear the dungeon

I was the DPS Not fun to mash buttons for 40 minutes. Here's the best part: All the loot was his type.

gosh, good thing I usually run it with people I know, coz I would definitely hate to meet someone like that SMN

Yeah, it was 3 + pug. Our scholar had to DPS cause of this. By the time we opened the demon wall chest, we were "You must be shitting me "

OMG!! LOL!!! SMN is a DOT type, if he just RUIN, same as doing nothing
