its all RNG's blessing. got my Kaga quite early. no shokaku sister yet though.
i think i know what ya talking about, but there is more then 1 chapter if im not mikstaken.
ikr. there is another one which is quite depressing & saddening  its about the shokaku sister got tentacle raep captured by the alien ships, and remodeled to become 1 of the alien ship. they escaped with the intention of reuniting with their teitokus only to fidn that the fleet that they belong too already have another shokaku sister waiting to intercept them and they continue to battle. meanwhile the teitoku is scrapping all the DD's commenting that ships(?) are merely tools of war and can be replaced easily if they needed too.

Still trying for Hachi... kinda jelly for lucky ppl that get it within 10 tries

there are just too many loli DD to choose from. I ended up only picking those that I either like their design or have good stats or mission related. I personally only have 6 battle ready DD (which are pick based off their stats so you can guess who they are) while the rest are for expe use only but I have classes that I don't bother keeping like Fubuki class, Ayanami class, Asahio class

Below are my personal rant on summer events i had experienced:
Last year i had been through the hellish AL/MI and failed to settle the final boss;
This time around, i settled on easy/medium mode on most event due to unexpected map clearing mechanism;
I dun know what will happen in next year summer event...

resource is kinda easy to farm (hint: subs, kyoto express)
But the buckets and screws are major headache.
TBH my oil did drop to below 1k TWICE in this summer event, one during e3 last dance, and one during e7 medium blood grinding (which i changed to so-called easy mode later), left alone buckets that never exceed 150 units after event started, and reduce to single digit once.
