Never border with abbyssal imps.
Bring kitakami.......if the ending torp never daiha kitakami sama, that is the end of e5.

For those having trouble to get the final kill in e5, do try my setup:



Once again, no debuff needed as it heavily depends on kitakami magic in night battle. Sendai yasen lust doesn't work for this boss.

I think the observer can be taken out and sub with something else as the LOS is more than enough for reach the final boss.
You need boss support in order to confirm the kill.

I did notice the boss tend to hit the 5th and 6th slot more often than usual, so i shift kitakami on 3rd slot, least she will not be taiha in night battle which is very crucial for final hit. Also in night battle, the DDs or Imp should be wiped out clean in day battle already.

I do notice that but for unknown reason, that boss use to chuha/taiha shigure and/or kitakami in night battle; so i fit the torpedo in shimapan instead.
DD can't do much damage to the Final-Form boss in cut-in/double attack setup in night, so i simply campak the stuff i had to fill in the blanks once i apply radar and type 98 night plane to fill the LoS, then gamble for kitakami to survive in night battle and crit the boss.

Line abreast >>> enuf to S rank the night battle node, and avoid taiha by PT imps.

Joke (truth?!!) aside, farming ship in e3 is very mind fuk, especially in boss node where you will occasionally stuck with A rank due to the boss hard-as-tank armor and torp salvo that crit night battle fleet. And did i ever tell you......

3 days without kantai regain my sanity a lot.
Time to experience 4-5 again for insanity medal

It depends.
If RNG goddesses not with me, final kill always left with 1-digit boss after night battle.

Kantai collection have no anime, only doujins and comics.
I die die also don't want to believe kantai have anime. (Kisaragi aaaaaahhhhhh)

Finally....after 30+ futile attempts include 15+ retreat in final kill.....

2 choices for kcv:
1) upgrade to kcv latest version by grabacr
2) upgrade to kvc version 3.8.2 r562 by (english version) which i using right now n no issue so far.

In the other hand, for the new quest that required 3 round of map 1-3 sortie, DO NOT USE FULL 6 FLEET or chances to drain is very very high (14 hours without hitting boss route in extreme cases, myself experience 2 hours no hitting boss node at all if using full 6 fleet)

Recommend to use 1CL 4DD to complete that mission.
