Almost every day from 5 PM - 7 PM there will be interruption to the connection line. Also my phone (cable) didn't work for almost 2 days. Don't know what happen lately.

I'm a VIP10 + HyypTV Premium pack subscriber (RM230 per month) for more than 2 years. Am I eligible for the recent VIP 10 + Mega / Sports Pack RM199 per month promo?

There's another one VIP20 + Mega / Sports Pack for RM249 however i'm not interested since VIP10 is more than enough, 20Mbps would be overkill for my small house. Beside the extra RM20 is important to me (cat food, petrol etc.).

I just want that Mega Pack but reluctant to increase my monthly fees. Even at times I feel RM230 is too much, feel want to downgrade to VIP5.

Hopefully there'll be no quota forever.

This is Unifi biggest selling point.

After calling the customer service it's not possible for VIP 10 customer to get this special promo without upgrading to VIP 20 package.

So i downgraded to VIP 5. Since my 24 months contract already up i don't have to pay anything, instead just refresh it for another 24 months. Then i made another call and upgraded to VIP 10 + Mega Pack promo (RM199). All of these are done in less than 24 hours.

I saved RM30 each month, got the Mega Pack channels and TM got myself commit for another 2 years. Win-win situation for all.

Special thanks to all TM Unifi customer service personnel that helped me through this as well. In my years of dealing with any organization, I got to say Unifi have one of the best customer service in the business.

WHy save RM30 and not RM50? Megapack is not cost at RM50/month?

Cos my old bill was VIP10 (RM199) + Platinum Pack (RM30) so the total is RM229. But comparing package by package, you're correct this promo pack saves RM50.

Few days ago I saw my friend who's still under VIP5 24 months contract recently upgraded to this very pack, got me thinking "why me, as a long time customer should pay more for an inferior package?". That was the moment I thought I gotta sign-up for this promo pack no matter what. Luckily my old contract was up just in time, so I didn't have to pay any penalty for the downgrading process.

Same with me (beside reducing the bill). To me it's worth it since I am fan of old Chinese / Hong Kong film and drama. The Western channels are nice too, (admittedly I have no clue about 90% of the programs).

Any idea how to request for new equipment as my TV box and the fibre modem going crazy. No more warranty and my house area port all full.

Nowadays almost everything must be dealt through their customer care line. Just give them a call and they will send their technicians to investigate. You can also ask if you're going to be charged for new equipment. or not.
