Fibre optic transmit informations faster than copper since it transmits using light. Unifi uses fibre optics to transmit datas so that it'll be very fast (5Mbps, 10Mbps, 20Mbps ~ 1Pbps[1000Tbps]). For more infos use google lol

Fyi:
B=byte
b=bit
1B=8b
1KB=1024B=8192b
1.25MB=10Mb
1.25MB/s=10Mbps

*
Our 10 MB connection is slow compare to other country like Singapore sad.gif

If you are using Samsung Galaxy S4 (at least this is what I am using & discovered), do NOT hold the top half of the phone. Doing so will block Wi-Fi signals.

And if you are connected to the 5GHz band Wi-Fi, then take note the range of 5GHz is shorter, hence, if you are a little too far from your router, then the signals will also be affected.

I actually never been to this site but I just tried, well, no problem at all. Streams smoothly for me.

By the way, no point doing any traceroute as TM has blocked ICMP from the 3rd hop onwards, hence the timed out..
*
Why i am buffering to this site? I am not downloading any stuff while viewing the vidoes...any idea?

are you connected directly via cable, or Wi-Fi? I am suspecting it might be Wi-Fi problem.

Looks fine. My suspect could be due to routing issues, depending on which range of IP address you get. You may want to try to disconnect & reconnect with new IP range to see if it helps.
*
How do I disconnect and reconnect back to get new IP range?

I have already flush dns and renew it...

Don't forget the actual file server (or peers if you are on P2P file sharing) may actually have lower bandwidth available to you (some may actually do throttling)

So if you download only a single file from one single server, you may not actually max out the download bandwidth available, unless you are downloading a single file over multiple connections (such as in download manager software), or downloading multiple files from multiple servers.

One thing I noticed, the actual download speed from Microsoft Update servers is kinda slow.
*
Yes Microsoft Update is kinda slow due to many users update.

If u have 10MB must be able to fully utilize the 10MB connection...otherwise is a waste according to TM technician...
