seems like your router IP has been changed to 192.168.0.1. Can you now try access http://192.168.0.1 and log in with admin/admin? IF still cannot I guess you gotta do a hard reset on the router.

There you go. If you are trying to configure this TP-Link, then you need connect your PC directly to the TP-Link (do NOT use Port 1, use Port 2, 3 or 4) to configure it at http://192.168.1.1

Using my attached image below as a reference, the blue cable connects to your Fiber ONU while the yellow one connects to your computer/laptop.

Notice that the yellow-colored ports are labeled 4, 3, 2, 1. You can use 4, 3 & 2. Do NOT use 1. Port 1 is for IPTV.

Try to do the ipconfig command again. What is the default gateway?

Your problem looks weird.

1) Can you explain here what exactly you did from the moment you unboxed this router until you could not use it?

2) Does your router came inside a box that has a label "works with UniFi" or something similar?

3) Did you ever flashed the router firmware?

Well, I guess this is where the problem comes. You bought this router not too long ago right? It should already work with UniFi and you should NOT flashed it. The flashing is to be done only if you are using an older version of this router that does not have UniFi support. Now it looks like the firmware is probably not compatible with your router (v7.2).

I am not sure if hard-resetting can help. In any case, read & try either one of the two methods described here: http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?id=82

Then connect back, check the default gateway, then try access that IP address of the default gateway on your browser to see if you can go in or not.

If it does not work, guess you probably want to try if you can claim warranty.

Three years, probably it's a version you need to flash. But before you do any flashing, go to the Network > WAN page. Do you have something similar (Normal mode, UniFi mode) as shown in the attachment below?

About other routers, you can buy the latest TL-WR841ND (hardware v8.x, firmware comes with UniFi support), OR can consider many other newer models like TL-WR4300 (make sure the box indicated that it has UniFi support)

Ah, this one does NOT support UniFi.

If you still want to attempt to flash, please download the firmware from TP-Link website. And yes, it supports IPTV.

Make sure you download the first firmware listed there, labelled as TL-WR841ND_v7_120221_MY

You can follow the instructions similar to KL seet website to flash, but like stated there, do it at your own risk.

After flashing & reboot,  this firmware will be a little different than what is shown in KLSeet as you will need to select "UniFi Mode" like what I shown you earlier.

And of course you need the UniFi username & password. Either the installer gave you a printout with the details, if not, you gotta call TM UniFi Centre and request for it.

the router works fine but the firmware quite sluggish IMO.
i dont know why but after 2-3 days of use,i cant browse the admin page
but now i've solved it.. i've flashed my router to ddwrt,much much much more stabler

yes we do need to setup the vlan tagging in ddwrt in order to be able to access the internet & hypttv
i did set the tag for iptv but i never bother to watch it.lol

you need to check what's the revision model of your router first
you can check it under the router itself or on it's box
