This is indeed interesting, I'll check it out when my passport expires in 2023. Maybe by then, they will get rid of even further red tape.

On the other hand, I checked out some of the citizenship by investment programs in Europe. I think they are ending the one in Cyprus and Malta, but Portugal's seems to be an interesting citizenship program: https://offlineversion.com/golden-visa-portugal/

I thought creating ten jobs could be done, but the other investment options are way too expensive.

Does anyone have any idea on if they grant the citizenship or not?
