Hi guys, I’m new here. Searched the web high and low and couldn’t find the answers I needed, so I thought I’d reach out to the lowyat community.
Much apologies if answers are already buried within the forum, but if my passport expired in July 2020, can I still renew at UTC? All I have to bring are my appointment letter, my old passport, and my IC - oh, and my debit/credit card. Or - is it more complicated than the above? Help much appreciated |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ May 17 2022, 11:07 PM) anyone applied canada visa recently? hi there, I just (thankfully) received my Canadian visa at the end of June..do you guys do it online or visit embassy? as i understand, we still need to hand over the passport to embassy for visa processing if we do it online right? if you're applying from KL, once your visa is approved, you will need to hand over your passport to the VFS office.. your passport will be sent to Canada's High Commision in Singapore, which means that in the end, it's not Canada's High Commision in KL that's handling your passport.. if you want to do fill in physical forms, you can do it at the VFS office in Calgary, but I personally prefer to do everything online.. that being said, the above was my personal experience.. so I can't say that is still 100% the current "workflow" for Canada visa application.. QUOTE(sugarbaby @ Jun 5 2006, 03:43 PM) Hi all, I need to get advise here...I'm going to Hong Kong next month to visit my relative, all alone...so, pls advise me on the following : Give number, I call and explain to you better.1. I want to apply passport. The nearest place for me is Damansara, near HELP college. Where exactly is the location? My friend told me to take Putra LRT, then feeder bus and stop at Menara Millennium. Then how? I heard over there got a machine to insert all your documents and money, which means u dont have to queue up for number. Issit true? 2. My flight to HK is 7.30am, which means I need to be at airport by 5.00am. Once I reach the airport, what's the procedures? How do I check in? After check in, then go where? Hope all the frequent travellers can help me....thanks! Tumpang post-juichuan quoted from this site: http://www.imi.gov.my/eng/perkhidmatan/im_PasportMsia.asp |
