QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 27 2013, 08:40 PM) Can't be done. I'm pretty sure some experts at XDA can do it... SELinux already enforcing it. Actually I wonder how devs going overcome this Fort Knox. The blardy thing can't even be touch. Well..really hope they find some way soon. btw..wanna ask those who already have and use this Note3. Is it worthwhile using it on stock rom..? Any handicap feeling.? |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 27 2013, 09:10 PM) Asian Galaxy Note 3 units exempt from Samsung's annoying region lock LOL... why like that one??? http://www.phonearena.com/news/Asian-Galax...on-lock_id47795 An Australain retailer has received the first batches of 16 and 32 GB Note 3 units, arriving from Hong Kong, and has confirmed that they were able to use them with an Australian SIM card without issues, and there is no region-lock warning label on the box with them. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Sep 29 2013, 01:33 PM) Just got mine yesterday but quite disappointed with the stability of the phone as mentioned by some others here. There is some random FC (iirc, both Google apps) even before i started installing my paid apps. Camera app also got heywire after i test-shoot a picture of my breakfast this morning - all the on-screen control disappear, no effect on touch. The power and home button not responsive at all but the screen show the camera is functioning - i.e. it still view live image, not freeze. I just put it back in my pocket and start with my breakfast. After 10 mins later when i finish my breakfast and took it out to check, it went back to home screen and all seems well. Looks like a freaking lag. Play NFS and it hang during startup... need to pull battery. That's early adopter's syndrome... Restore the data from my Note II with Helium Premium. Will monitor few more days and do a factory reset to purge it and start from scratch again. But i do note the mobile internet speed is freaking fast - on the same location on H+, my Note II can only do 8-9Mbps but the Note 3 can go up to 18+Mbps. |
