basically 3 choices
1) buy from spigen ebay, more than 100USD then free shipping, BUT maybe long shipping time up to 30 days?
2) buy from korean market, shipping not expensive, fast, BUT got antenna hole on top right corner
3) buy from cubix shop, RM139, BUT recently seems like got promotion free casing worth RM39 while waiting for SGP case

I just dropped mine too. Only hard back case from Baseus.

No dents nor chips whatsoever eventhough I heard a solid thump. Fell a about 2 ft from the couch.

Does the screen still need to be replaced together with the digitizer as well? If it is like the note 2, replacing the cracked screen will be expensive...

FYI, Korean phone got antenna to watch TV, so their case need a hole for the antenna to extend
Msia phone no antenna, quite weird if the case got a hole

Also, the case protection may become 1-5% less protective
(Imagine you are unlucky and you dropped your phone exactly on the top right corner)

Note1 and Note2 screens assemblies with digitizers were both rm700. I believe Note3 should be no different.

Either pay approx 150-250 for a GOOD and PROPER casing or 700 per occurrence of cracked screen. Or 1/day for insurance.

The choice is yours.

It's advisable to change the whole set instead of the glass only. Even service centre do change the whole set (glass and digitizer).
Expensive. .yeah. Should cost less than RM800 tho

I know it has an antenna. So do Japanese phones.

I'm using a Remax case I got on day 1 for 35 as interim protection. This is probably the same one that cubixshoppe will give you guys.

It has the antenna hole too but it still covers the entire bezel. I don't see how a drop even at that corner will have a real problem unless you dropped it from at least 6 feet. Probably only an Otterbox will save you then.
