Yea, I followed the discussion too, but mostly it is the bugs on XZU right? Sleep of death and all.

Don't think he was really complaining but stating the bugs and the handicap of the phone. I think quite a few users agreed with him since they shared the same issue as well.
*
What I cannot accept is Sony did nothing even after few firmware updates. That the only complain I give to Z Ultra.

Stupid question though, can we add apps into Pen Windows or remove the default apps?

doesn't look that way. tried finding a way but definitely not available, at least without custom mods that allow such feature.

I tried to Google but found no solution or maybe I Googled wrongly. laugh.gif

Thankfully WhatsApp is in the list, will be good if it offers flexibility in this.

I have to agree with you.

Despite Andrewtst constant harping on screen and camera recently, he did give very good hands-on information on most of the XZU bugs (which I was happily following) when they released the new firmware etc. I mean, nobody is perfect and what I can say is that people just take it easy and relax. Personally, I don't really see anything wrong with Andrewtst's postings as many people are indeed interested to know comparisons for the screen and cameras anyway. If Andrewtst were to stop posting altogether, we would surely miss a good forum contributor for this handphone section, IMHO.
The white faux leather feels more plasticky and less sticky, so could it be more durable? Only time will tell. But after few days of using my white Note III naked, the white faux leather back is still in pristine condition. But I will surely put it in a case ASAP to be safe.

True. I for one enjoy reading his comparisons. Some people may get offended as they might see him attacking the phones of their choice. People do get defensive, but others who are on the neutral side, may appreciate his rants / contributions.

Anyways, it is human nature. We get defensive when an 'outsider' starts ranting over the device of our choice.

Thanks for understanding. smile.gif

I didn't attack any phone. Maybe I said too much and offends some.

Will lower down comments and enjoy my Note 3. smile.gif

Has anyone has this type of cover? What do you guys think of it?? Anyways, went to Samsung OU and saw the SCover N3 for 299!!!! Damn.... talk about overpriced hahah.. want more thing, don't know about you guys but, i feel the charging using the original note3 charger takes ages!!! Using my previous ipad charger with 5amp output really provides blazing fast charge. Appreciate comments and experience with this.

i tried out the cover you mentioned putting up the cover makes the phone's screen so not sensitive

Ya, my Note II has no such issue as well. Anyway, this is just a small problem. Enjoy your phone!

Relax and take it easy, Chief!  biggrin.gif
I gave my comments in the thread, and hopefully everyone there will cool down now.

Anyhow, just to report that my Note III battery life on standby as below since last night until this morning. Pretty impressive I would say. All my push notifications were still on - including 2 x Gmail Account Notifications, Whatsapp, etc.  thumbup.gif

Somehow I never had impressive standby battery life. Normally will have 6% min drop to 18% in 8 hours.

Yes, I am. biggrin.gif
My original cable, charger and earphones for Note 3 are still sealed and intact in original packaging. biggrin.gif

Based on my previous experience where two adapters spoilt on me, I think I will give a pass this time and keep them. Really don't want to keep visiting Samsung SC for this reason. laugh.gif

I do like the charger that came with the Note III. It looks quite durable and the retractable pin makes it easy to be stored in a bag. Also, the cable is pretty thick. biggrin.gif

Yes, it looks more durable than Note II but my old charger still serves me well then I will continue using it on my Note 3. biggrin.gif
I seldom transfer files to my phone from laptop using cable, usually via WiFi. biggrin.gif
