It's either I'm uber smart or this questions is just stupid.

Ask someone who doesn't know the meaning of survivor.

In the end, everybody dies so either they're cremated, buried or left there to rot.
I'm guessing that you're implying that survivors from an airplane crash are not to be buried but to be cremated once they die?

it says flying from london to congo, so if assume that the plane is half way there and crash, it should be in the mediteranean sea.
