simply go for Naza Blade 250R or N....with RM14000 price, u save around RM10000..with Rm10k saving, you can simply spare for maintainance after that...

not bad after all the blade since i got so many friends using it...either daily or weekend bike...u can simply dig an information about this bike in FB...plenty of time to think and re think...

for me, kawasaki ninja 250 are simply pricey for 250cc...

just my 34.5sen

Kawasaki 250r are simply pricey of course but that blade250r are basically worthless imo..it had problematic with efi sensor, stand switch malfunction, bad cable clutch housing, harsh engine n gearbox shifting, bad air cool system, loosing screw n nuts dropping out, soft monoshock, super high preload monoshock for big bike feel, super big tyre for so called big bike feel but weak n soft monoshock...those problems are identifiable and happens for user that uses less than 5k km...honestly I rather pay the extra 10k n get a safer bike...

my 25cent opinion only

its cheap for 250cc category but if its so problematic and u wanna gamble your life with that machine then u can go on...i had a friend have 2 major problems happen to him while riding n almost get bang n die

1) clutch cable broken only bout 4k mileage (6 month to 10 month old bike) can't really remember exact figure...and the clutch cable broken during riding bout 100km/h not still. Imagine how dangerous u can't shift

2) the bike after riding at 100km/h..suddenly the bike jerks n the bike's engine is off. After repair, the problem detected its due to EFI sensor malfunction (engine too hot its seems) and side stand sensor is too hot(malfunction)...and yea u must understand that the bike's engine is off when the bike is rolling probably bout 80km/h back then..u probably crash n die on the spot

i won't complain much if the engine or gearbox is harsh n all coz its cheap but those deadly malfunction can cause u to die on road man...if u r experience rider, at least u can control it or so called evade but if u r inexperience rider(for sure u gonna die when problems like this happen)

and conclusion, my friend sold off the bike after repaired n tell me never to get naza blade especially the 250 model...650 model seems to have lesser problem

I'm considering too z250 but seriously, it's pricey. sad.gif

But seriously, Naza blade has such problems?

too louzy quality..to me the quality of the bike is totally unacceptable and its not bout the price..its about safety of the rider...bike jam, auto shut down n all these problem is unforgivable that could cost ppl life

look in mudah.my, theres one used unit selling for rm8k. With pretty low mileage.
From what Ive heard personally, this bike shifts very smooth. The shifting uses minimal effort.

Now I'm deciding between z250 or duke 390. With only 4k difference,  I can get 390cc yet it's single cylinder. =P

parallel twin feels like a baby subaru sound while single cylinder sounded a bit like kapcai in my opinion..the duke parts generally will be more expensive compared to the z250 but single cylinder in future will be easier and lower to maintain compared to parallel twin (but not a big gap)

but if u compared parallel twin n inline 4( expenses big gap in future)

I'm going to use it for an hour drive so I think I'm better off with z250 but, duke 390 is real sexy and much better torque!
*
duke 390 just launched, its so new in the market..problems not yet been rectified so a bit dangerous to be a new buyer..haha but special in the sense that is still rare...KTM sparepart generally will be more expensive compared to Kawasaki somemore seeing DUKE 390 is bigger CC..parts definately more expensive than the Z250...it really depends on you which bike suits u more..basically u need to be sincere to urself on how much u basically earn minus with your commitment? gf/wife/family/car loan/car maintenance?..if u r driving perodua/proton range car..u gonna face problems that ur bike parts n maintenance generally almost the same or higher than the DUKE and Z250..so then be sincere bout it

What are you using now?I'm still planning, just like what you said, I'm now working in rural area and going out often to meetings and so, hence, bike will be my main transportation while car will be my backup since that I always travel alone.

How much is the usual maintenence for bike? biggrin.gif
