have u tried the yamaha pacifica 311?
its a hot telecaster from yamaha.. i got it for rm750 a year ago

well i am not good at doing reviews.. but here is a short one to help the threadstarter. Yamaha pacifca 311ms features a hotrail(dual blade) pickup at bridge and an alcino V humbucker at neck, non-trem, alder body and mapple fretboard. Overall its versatile.. may be suitable for vast variety of music genre. (jazz, blues, rock, pop)...to those who are used to strats, they may find the fretboard a little chunky.. and a little heavy in weight(medium weight probably about 3kg).
how it sounds like? the hotrail is quite a hot pickup.. and it can scream pretty well.. nothing very speacial about the neck PU.. sounds warm like all guitars do.. a mix of the two PU may have some twang but its NOT the traditional fender twang.



I will say its a real bang for the buck.. juz try some rm2k range guitars and then try out this one.. do the comparison.
