Cartridge game can't set as favourite game?, Sad

I just got 3ds last week with pokemon white 2 cartridge to play while waiting for xy to come out. Then i played with this mii maker and when i tried to choose my favourite game to be displayed on profile, it doesnt show the pokemon game. Am i missing something, or is it really only digital copy games can be selected as favourite game in profile?
