I register unifi since 2011 and now already over 24month (contract period) i think unifi already blacklist me and maybe the lawyer got call my hand phone but i already change my number .

All i want to know is the lawyer will catch me to jail or what ? i dint scare about credit card or loan such things because i already have a house but not under my name . I just care about the lawyer can do what ~

The bill is Rm2700++ and i only use that unifi for 3 month only i feel like not worth to pay so much money for it , can i just leave it ?

Once you got a call from collection agency at ur office phone number you might think differently..

TM won't do anything with you. They just send ur name to collection agency. I don't think they will throw red paint to ur house or ur car. But visiting at your office maybe.

Legally I think the can saman you and declaring you bankrupt will make you have a hard time.

You already been Blacklisted to all Telco's. Now Tm connected with all Telco's.

i do not understand why you did not cancel it when you are not satisfied with the service. Termination of unifi while under contract is RM500 if I am not mistaken.

Now, you will need to pay the full 2700 and maybe more. TM will definitely blacklist you in their own network. You won't be able to apply for any services from TM. However, not sure if this blacklist will apply to other telcos. Most probably it will.

What I would suggest you do is try to appeal to TM with this account. Tell them you didn't used it after 3 months and see if they are willing to discount your outstanding amount. If they reduce the amount to something you are okay with then at least you can settle it and get on with your live. Else you can just continue to live under somebody else's name whenever you need telco services.

if you never settle that rm 2.7k, it may not stop charging you, increasing the bill, im not sure if they will stop on an amount or not

As I said before you won't dealing with lawyer first. It's will be collection agency. Dunno what they will do, most probably just calling you and ask for the money because they will get the percentage for that.

same thing happen to me. but not unifi, it is celcom broadband. i paid the overdue in monthly installment and now i live happily ever after.

To declare bankruptcy, you need to owe the other party more than RM30k.

u are lucky TM not using CTOS blacklist. Your address is blacklist for TM service, your name blacklist for any telco & multimedia service.

if the number is rolling (increasing every month due to monthly fee), the amount will not be written off, as it have new amount every month, your 7 years term renew every month.

TS, you still have around 16 year before TM can declare you as bankrupt.

for now.. owning telco money is not a crime, law cant be use to collect money..other than bankruptcy.
