someone(a local columnist in one of the travel column for a local mag) told me that biasenye if kene the sun, the effect wont be that one streak..instead it'll look like bubbles.the ray of light.

i dun really knw whether its true or not.

any pros care to explain how i got this streak of sunlight rather sharp?
was using a dgcam.

well.. i thougt that make the pic really cool..
pics with bubbles ray of light dah selalu tgk..
but this pic seem quite rare to be happen like that..

erm..thats what i thought too.

smaller aparture creates that kind of light... imho... or does that happen during night times?? dunno2...

hurm..isnt the aperture for 'running lights'?
correct me if im wrong.

yerp ; mcm bukaan biji mata kite ; lagi kecik bukaan ; cahaya tu jadik tajam2 ; the larger the aparture ; the light might look like blobs ; xpon overexposed

ok...with that being said...
i cant find any aperture settings in the menu of my cam.
or it has a different term for it?

the 2nd pic, shud show more sky instead of the ground

yes.. a bit more sky..

but remember to KEEP the guy in the pic..

or else.... there's no sen\se of depth... more sky.. but keep the guy in it

will try to remember that..i like taking shots from a very low angle though.

haha, then u must bend really down to get the shot

well..i was practically lying on the road to take that shot..
one couple even thought i was a pro that they asked me to take their pic instead..
=p

for me compositon for pic 2 ie quite interesting leh, bottom left got 1 broken pencil, center got a towel and on the right is the biker..... n' on the right hand side building got reflection of the towel....... wow~~~ this pic is very interesting, it got so many details, cool~pic Keep it "Low".....angle

ive alwaiz wanted to go to taman burung n zoo negara... but nver get the chance to... should give u nice shots... esp with a good zoom..

once i did a case of central market n the surrounding context... its quite nice.. with all the live performance.. beggars.. n budakskolah posers... there's even a hidden buddhist temple at the cm area... nice...

nice pics......like the first one. i was wondering how do u ever come by with that kind of sun rays......i saw once..........done by another photographer.........was in the middle of the jungle and he manage to capture that ray. still wondering how is it possible to be done.

its a macro shot...i set the camera setting to macro and i positioned the camera in front of the aquarium.


it was taken at underwater world langkawi.
pretty good place to snap pics...

like the colour did u adjust it b4? careful the brightness of the pic, the person inside is "losing some details"

i would go further with the tone though... ehm...
