Saw this appear in Samsung's FB page:
"The Galaxy Gear is also IP55 rated so it can stand a little dust and water"
Well, at least there's some info as to what it's IP rating is for. Can probably take it for a run I suppose

Just curious if the rear of the units received today have that "4G" logo as well? I'm gonna use Mr.Muscle on it if it's really there

Hi guys, just got my device. Might I ask if anyone knows where the handwriting settings went to? I recall on the Note 2, there were ways to configure things like the line thickness and character recognition settings. Could not find it on the Note 3. By any chance you guys happen to see it?

Thanks Joytest! Hmmm...not much luck on that though. I'm kinda looking for the settings like these: http://forums.androidcentral.com/attachmen...56935585843.jpgNot sure if you guys happen to have seen it? Trying to change the recognition timeout etc.

I dig into the input/languages setting where there's some options for the Samsung keyboard, but well doesn't seem to have any handwriting recognition options unfortunately QUOTE(WiLyi @ Sep 26 2013, 12:45 AM) Have you try keyboard setting? If not mistaken it should be there instead of s pen setting

Thanks WiLyi. Went there as well, but handwriting is not in there unfortunately. It's been moved up one level. Unfortunately does not allow you to change any handwriting recognition settings QUOTE(WiLyi @ Sep 26 2013, 12:57 AM) I hvnt get my N3 yet so I not sure how big different it is compare to my Note 10.1 In my tablet, the setting page you are looking for is in language and input > click on the setting icon next to Samsung keyboard > handwriting Alternatively try open up Samsung keyboard > click the setting icon > handwriting I believe it won't be too much of a different

Morning guys. Wah this thread really is moving very fast! Good that there's lots of interest on the device Guys just curious, how does your handwriting panel look like? When I choose to write instead of type, mine's got a dotted line somewhere 3/4 down the handwriting panel, and some slider at the very bottom. Anyone figured out what it's for? Seems like Samsung changed the handwriting recognition when compared to the Note 2...

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone is having any luck writing fast on the Note 3? Not sure if it's just me, but i still can't figure out how to write multiple lines. Anyone happened to have figured it out? Writing on Note 2 seems faster than Note 3 on the old handwriting panel..

Not really. It's more like the efficiency of handwriting. Basically on the Note 2, you could scribble your text onto 2 lines on the handwriting panel. But on the Note 3's handwriting panel, they only allow one line QUOTE(owentan328 @ Sep 26 2013, 01:45 PM)
