I am getting my 2.0E next week. Been waiting for 2 months because some issue with Proton did not want to issue the car to Dealer. From 7.8k rebate and now changed to 6k rebate with Yes 4G package. I still prefer cash rebate. Sigh.

Vios and Inspira is different class of car. 1.5 and 2.0.

Of course 1.5 is saver petrol and how good of 2.0 FC is still 2.0. It is not apple to apple compare.

I have Vios and City at home but now I want bigger Cc and more powerful car. It is depends what do you want. Some ppl just go for brand. 2 of my sisters can't believe that I go for Proton car for my wife. We all know what is the QC of Proton which something we already knew the facts. But the QC of the Toyota and Honda also dropped a lot as compared with last time. When I got the new camry 3 years ago and started to have weird sounds after 3 months, an almost 200k car has this kind of issue. You can say I am unlucky also.

The Proton's CEO mentioned before that we assembled so many cars yearly and how to perform QC on every car. I can't remember when did he say it but he did say it before.

It is like that for a reason. The CEO also said like this publicly. I know this is should not happen to a new car but sorry to say it happen all the time. Unless the sound is too loud can hear it clearly. You need to be patient to fix it slowly by yourself.

If you complain to SC and standard reply that you need to leave your car in the SC for a few days for checking. After that they will tell u no problem and return your car with the same problem.

My goodness. My new 2.0E is delay again. My banker friend asked almost all the dealers and proton in KL/SEL but they said no car also but plenty of cars in the factory. Not sure what proton is doing. Sigh. Number plate, loan and document all kao tim. Waiting for the car only.

Nov is coming. The offer will change again in Nov and hopefully dun reduce the rebate. The rebate already reduced 1.3k. in Oct.

If not I need to come out with more cash. Sigh.

If Proton sales as good as the new VIOS - 11000 orders then I can understand la.

11000 orders. I think need to wait 6-9 months now. I cannot wait that long because already sold my old car and I dun like the car boot of Vios

There is no car then how to register although I have the number plate and car loan ready.
No engine number and chasis number to register under my number plate. So I cannot fixed the offer given. Funny that got the offer but no car.

This is how Proton doing business. Got business come in to Proton but like they dun want to sell now.

Dunno what other car to get seems I dun want to get VIOS, City and Jazz for around the same price. We all know why do we want to get Inspira coz of the Mitsubishi body and engine. It is absolutely sure that not that we love Proton. Been challeged by many ppl to ask same question "WHY PROTON!!!"

Same to my other friends that have the Inspira and got the same question from all their friends and relatives or even siblings/parents.

I think you all understand what I mean. So not much option unless Proton tells me that need to wait for another 6 months or totally stop production...sigh.

I have the same reply. From 7.5k rebate in Sept drop until 6k in Oct and now 2.6k. Other brand already started the new good offer but want to reduce the rebate. Simple reason to get this car is cheap. Now wait further lo.

Actually the promotion apply to all cars in Proton but happened that Inspira does not has car to supply. In marketing point of view that Proton will push the Preve first coz it is cheaper and higher margin. Inspira did not sell well as expected by Proton coz it is not cheap without the rebate. Due to the bad name of Proton from past 3 decades and ppl now willing to spend the same money or slight more money to go for Honda and Toyota
