Corruption and exorbitant pricing is one thing but the bigger issue is ship scheduling which is classified info...may even go bigger as according to their website Glen Defence Marine operates in 32 countries, servicing 34 navies and besides they also service international cruise liners. http://www.glennmarinegroup.com/

Just wishful thinking but .....What are the chances of converting the Port Klang Cruise Center operated by Glen Defence into a deep water Navy base for the RMN ? (I think that Hydro Division is somewhere nearby there).

Drama yang mengisahkan kegigihan perajurit Tentera Darat khususnya Rejimen Askar Melayu DiRaja dengan menggempur kubu-kubu kuat pengganas komunis dan menangkap tali barut yang membantu pengganas.

Berlatarkan operasi-operasi khas dan rahsia sekitar tahun 1980an, anggota Platun Harimau seramai 20 orang dipilih khas di kalangan perajurit Askar Melayu.

Mereka kemudiannya dilatih khas oleh komando bagi menyelinap ke dalam kem-kem komunis dengan amanat yang dipegang iaitu ‘membunuh atau terbunuh'.

Drama arahan pengarah pengalaman, Nurhalim Ismail itu akan mula ditayangkan pada 1 Mac ini sempena Hari Ulang Tahun Tentera Darat.

Menjanjikan kisah perang yang luar biasa, Platun Harimau membariskan ramai pelakon hebat antaranya Norman Hakim, Safura Ya'cob, Yatt, Zamarul Hisham, Zul Zuhaimi, Watie Elite, Zaidi Omar, Wendy Wong, Rosnah Mat Aris, Zarina Akademi Fantasia dan Afzan Anak Wayang.

Drama 15 episod itu menjalani penggambaran di Kem Tapah, Pusat Latihan Peperangan Khas (kem latihan komando), Markas Taktikal Kem Banding, Markas Taktikal Kem Gubir, Kem Klian Intan, Kem Erskin, Tanah Perkuburan Kuala Woh, Kampung Changkat, Pekan Chenderiang dan kawasan hutan di Perak.

Sementara itu, Platun Harimau diterbitkan dengan kerjasama Tentera Darat, Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), Nadirasa Budaya Produksi, Muzium Tentera Darat dan Institut Perisikan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia.

Drama tersebut turut mendapat kerjasama Tentera Udara DiRaja Malaysia, Rejimen Gerakhas, 4 RAMD, 4 Skuadron Semboyan dan pakar-pakar letupan dari Rejimen Jurutera.

Novel Platun Harimau muncul novel terlaris di pasaran pada 2009, ditulis oleh Leftenan Kolonel Mohd. Radzi Abd. Hamid.

Novel keluaran DBP itu berdasarkan pengalaman Mohd. Radzi sendiri ketika memimpin Platun Harimau dalam puluhan operasi memburu pengganas komunis di perbatasan negara dan negeri Pahang.

seriously, where can i find these army novels? been finding them for years at MPH, Kinokuniya, Popular but not a single malaysian army novel found in their shelf
..been trying to find 69 Komando book too.. sad.gif

I thought that might be the case but then...there are also police officers around the scene who did not wear face masks as well. Perhaps they are from a different unit?
