Yo, currently using 221. But interested in buying new 1. Need advice on GT5051R, FX6021 or MX5021....
*
i have tested fx6021 and mx5021 at low yat last time... for fx6021, the treble is quite deep.... and the bass is cover by metal net.... i worry that it will affect the sound quality if the metal net get losse next time... for bass wise, mx5021 bass is better.. maybe you can test it in low yat one day...

..choose ams24.zip

it is not usb powered...do you realize there is an usb cable come together with your ada305? it is more like graphic user interface for you to control the speaker in computer without touching the speaker...

No way a proper 2.1 set is powered through USB  sweat.gif
Just that u connect it through the USB instead of the normal analogue to the soundcard
Oh and it makes your soundcard useless  biggrin.gif

Correct me if i'm wrong, this is how the normal USB speakers/headphones work
*
you are right, it is no way a proper 2.1 speaker can be powered by usb... usb only supply 5v...got la, those low end one, you can connect your speaker to the usb, usb powered, and no need to connect the speaker to the sound card...

MX5021 one of my fav. tryin get one next month.... sound nice even try on with cd player... which should bundle with to make the sound extra richer... Asking advise frm u guyz sifu  icon_question.gif
*
mx5021 can be considered is the best set by AL so far.... the ony weakness for the speaker is the treble is quite sharp that might make your ear pain.... the only solution is to change the cable... buy good cable with low distortion and noise for it... maybe you can find from pasar road for a better price..

2. MX-5021 - good treble, good midrange, good bass, not boomy (trebles need adjustment as it can go very high)

i m using MX5021 also... the treble is very high by using the given wire.. then i changed the wire to a lower noise and distortion wire, now it works perfectly.... even my friend who own JBL wan change to AL MX5021 also... thumbup.gif

for me..

SB Audigy 2 -> MX5021 -> Rock -> TTplayer (Direct Sound)

hehe... i always feel a set of MX5021 is not enough... thinking to get another set of MX5021 to upgrade my pc to 4.2 .... tongue.gif
