Hey guys. I recently acquired an old set.. not sure if you all know AVS500.
Well, I have to ask - can it connect to a notebook? And there's 2 3.5mm connectors.. what do I do with the other one?

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Nov 9 2008, 12:46 AM) yap, unless your sound card can support it.... How do I find out what sound card do I have? Also, how do I find out whether it is compatible? Sorry for the noob questions but I currently don't have the AC adaptor, so I can't power the speakers to try it out.

Wow. Thanks for the detailed info jun, ... but... what's the difference between 16 and 24 bit? Sorry, I'm a newbie into the speakers division.

Oh... Thanks you two for the detailed explaination. XD I'm really enlightened now.
Anyway, where can I get the Trust one? Or are there any other 16-bit external soundcards? I'm really really low on funds... so I can't afford to get expensive stuff.

@narutokun83:
I think you should send your unit to the HQ for them to check it out.

QUOTE(narutokun83 @ Nov 10 2008, 06:26 PM) i've checked, the problem is only the 3.5 mm stereo cable. So i don't think it merits a visit to the HQ. Oh. Then you might be able to find a deal at All IT Hypermarket. I think they do have those cables there. There's a shop in Lowyat and one in Ikano Power Centre (2nd floor). Good luck searching.

You can try using equalizer to your needs.
Most songs don't have excessive bass. You need to use the equalizer to tune those body-shaking bass.
