just change tires lately, the shop uses a machine to mount the tires on (like pic below)



notice there's a little (not deep) scratches done by the machine while holding the rim

to top it off the worker uses a piece of long thin metal bar to ease the tires fitting in

i know it wouldnt have enough force to bend the rim

but hey what if my rims are those expensive forged piece rim.. surely wanna cry

so guys, just wondering, how you guys prevent those damage done on rims while fixing the tires on?
