Actually, the F800 Pro is a higher range and has more functions than the iRoad X9.
The F200 is Thinkware's low-range to cater to the budget conscious.
If you want to compare the iRoad X9 to Thinkware then I would say it's a little bit beneath the X550 (Thinkware's mid-range) as the X550 has an extra feature, Smart Camera Alert which works in Malaysia since last year October/November.
Even the iRoad TX9 with its 3K QHD resolution, I would put it at the same level as the F770 more.
But I've tested the TX9's ADAS and it's almost as accurate as Thinkware's. I didn't like the proprietary file format, JDR, that iRoad uses. Only can watch the files using their own player or app. And some other stuffs.
Anyway, iRoad in Korea is considered to be a "budget" dashcam in the Korean market.
Thanks for the correction.
One thing that keep me away from iRoad is the proprietary file format, but the lower price range over Thinkware and Blackvue is quite a plus point.
Quite a numbers of Mazda CX-5 owners installed X9 as it is priced in between China DVR (Viofo, Mini 0906, etc) and Korean DVR (Thinkware, Blackvue) but still get the superior Korean DVR true parking mode.
