Threw a brand new Sandisk 16GB class10 card into my shitty G100, but still hangs and stuff. Guess it's the heat.

Any latest dashcams? Went out and did survey, not satisfied with all of them.

bros, am planning to get the gt550w with gps, and many have said that they are the same as the dod 330w.

I've just got a reply frm foxoffer, mentioned that they are not the same like previously as the manufacturer now has changed.

any thoughts to this? anyone bought gt550w frm foxoffer recently ?

Any of these cameras any good?

http://www.lazada.com.my/shop-car-cameras/

I don't wanna buy a cheap one and then find out that it doesn't work under certain conditions like overheat or prolong usage.

papago P2PRO and gosafe 350 are one of the best worldwide

they offer speed idicatiors or when you cut another lane accidentally it will prompt you , a lot of things , cannot state them all LOL

This nissan gtr in malaysia using papago p2pro as stated on the bottom right of the video

get the G1WH from foxoffer.com ... most of the cameras on lazada looks like crap... but the more expensive ones unknown

the G1WH at least is proven... i own one... prolong usage? no problem... ive driven for over an hour with the dvr running in the hot sun with no problems

overheat? my car was under the sun for 3-4 hours n it still works like normal. take note that my cars have NO tinting whatsoever.

500$ is expensive ?

IT does not just video record.

When you accidentally cut into another lane , it will notify you .

It has speed indicators when you pass one and will tell you the speed limit

It has gps built in

Prompt the driver when he deviates from his lane or getting too close with the front vehicle to ensure safe driving.
Tell you if there is a speed camera nearby

Its like buying car tint , you like lousy fake tint and go buy it to save money or buy raytech with more features and proven

same logic

shocking.gif . The other day I saw harvey normal selling about 700++

imagine someone just smash your car and steal the unit.

mine is around RM200. quality sometimes can be doh.gif but at least when i left it in the car, it doesnt draw any attention.

for me buying this is totally different from buying a tint.

If you want a dashcam that doesn't draw attention, get a Mobius. Very good image quality and super small. Downside, no screen sweat.gif

Lol security tint even easier to pecah if parked by the roadside. Just pry from the side of the window, the window will fall flat on the ground in 1 piece, minimise the thief's risk as well as the window does not shatter to pieces

Hi
I would like to ask a general question. Most dashboard cams uses the ciggy lighter socket in order to get power to the camera. However, in my car, I only have 1 ciggy lighter socket which I use for GPS and USB powered phone charger, hence no space for another socket. Is there a way for me to integrate the dashboard cam without using the ciggy lighter socket? Can I get some advise on how can it be done (or where)?

Thanks All....

Is this better than a dashcam?

http://grantonworld.com.my/deals/Products/..._source=myemail

I know it's shock proof and weather proof, so more suitable for bikes but what if we use for cars?

Still we need to manually capture everytime we start engine right. Is there any dashcam where it auto records everytime we start our engine?

Okay, a week or two ago at a shop in Akihabara, Tokyo, my parents saw this and insisted on getting one.

user posted image

It's around RM180, which is RM40 more expensive if bought here (saw one LYN member selling). Oh well.

SAMPLE VIDEO:

Full unboxing video (and probably review) coming after this.
