You can get the A129 for front and rear. Then a Yi Home 720p cam for cabin.

For the A129, do you route the rear cables on the right (driver) side of the car, or the left (passenger)?

Currently, I route my A119 ciggie power cable to the left (passenger) side, so I am currently thinking to route both the rear and ciggie power cable to the left (passenger) side as well.

Hey guys, not sure if this has been asked before (read through the last 15 pages didn’t find any), for those who have have the 8 inch dark tint place at the top of the windscreen, how do you place your dashcam? Below the tint or on top of the tint (but cut out around the dashcam lens) ? Basically I wanted to add the top tint to reduce glare but now my dashcam is there.

Which cam can be dismantle easily? Scare someone will break glass and steal the cam

Actually most dashcams can take down easily from the mount.

Only drswback that it will get loose if take down and put back up too much.

I prefer to go with discreet design so no need to take down.

Is there any recommendation on dash camera which runs on capacitor rather than battery(since I read that capacitor is a better option) which give similar video performance to the Xiaomi Yi? I don't need any fancy features such as GPS. Just a basic video recording  for front view only which is clear in both day and night.

Is it possible to get one in the range of RM300 and below? Since the Xiaomi Yi which is a decent dashcam is selling at RM128, I was just wondering what are the available dash cameras which run on capacitors and the price range. If it's too expensive I might just consider the Xiaoyi. Thanks.

I checked on internet. For CX5, the cigarette lighter will still be ON even if we off the engine.

I tried both the cigarette lighter power source with the a129:

1- The socket under the aircond control: straight away off after engine off

2- The one in the armrest compartment: stay ON after engine off (i'm not sure for how long havent test fully yet)

For the rear cam
Its not really hidden. The wire they provide for rear cam is jussstt enough to make it to the rear window so theres 1 small part where I unable to hide the wire but no compromise whatsoever.

Now Im searching for extension wire (Mini B Male to Female) so i can adjust it a bit.

Regarding the cigarette lighter source:
Im gonna try it once again & confirm back.
