Really brilliant. At times he went in late and defenders totally missed him. At times he's ahead faster when enrique or suarez try to cut back the ball to him.

So so unlucky not to score on 2 close encounters. Forget Mata Kucing.

This is the guy we need to link with SAS. Speed, positioning and skills in abundance. Just need to give him time to improve on finishing.

On paper yes. Aquero, Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic are all exceptional players. But at the moment, performance wise SaS represents great value. The chemistry between them seems natural and electrifying. I suppose that's what happens when you only have few strikers that can't be rotated out. So in a way, our weakness is our strength and vice versa. But City do have tremendous depth.

A realistic signing for our midfield competition is Yohan Cabaye. That guy is too good for Magpies. He definitely would bring more to our team. He's adapted to EPL, strong and good passer and can score goals as well.

Agree with you on his qualities. I remember when he first came in, he was shoulders above the rest. That's not saying a lot considering how crap the rest of the squad was doing but you knew he had the qualities - made the right decisions, kept the ball flowing and the moves tidy and always presenting himself as an option. But he needs to regain that form and confidence and also perform consistently in the team. To do that he needs game time. But I have a question, what's his favourite position? He used to play in Gerrard's current role in Swansea but I don't see Rodgers dropping Gerrard at all. If he should be played further upfront where he could cause the most damage, we have Coutinho and Alberto - 2 natural footballers no less - above the pecking order. It's going to be a tough mountain to climb.

coutinho is not fit enough to start yet, my guess would be allen will involved in the match this week. i just hope br bold enough to sub gerrard and give him some needed rest
