STEAM SAY THIS : Thank you for contacting Steam Support. We apologize for the delay. Tracking your Steam inventory is your own responsibility. You can view your inventory history by navigating to your Inventory page in your Steam Community profile and clicking on the "View Inventory History" link. Using this information, you should be able to find where your items went. If you believe that any friends or family members may have access to your computer, please discuss this matter with them. The security of your account is your responsibility. If the items were crafted, traded, or deleted by you, or one of your friends or family members, they will not be restored. If you are sure that these items are missing and that they were not crafted, traded, or deleted by you or a friend or family member, please use your inventory history tool to provide as much information about the activity as possible in your next reply to this ticket. This should include the last date at which you owned the items and whether they were traded, deleted, or crafted. Please provide a screenshot of the trade(s) that took place on your account so we can further assist you. To view your trading history, please do the following: - Launch Steam and navigate to your 'Community' page - Click on 'Profile' at the top - Select 'Inventory' from the top right menu - Click 'View Inventory History' at the top right This will allow you to view all previous trades, as well as item(s) included in these trades. Looks like we have another victim of having the SteamGuard switched off.
I'm tempted to ask him to provide me his Steam login credential & I'll "personally" check it for him. |
