Nice find.

Really some good looking macro shots there.

Edit: Except for the Onion Bokeh... LOL.. but even some SLR lenses suffers from Onion Bokeh..
*
I don't see any Onion Bokeh? Do you mean just bokeh.
Actually that's pretty much unavoidable. it has nothing to do with the lens.

bokeh is produced when your focus item distance to the lens and the background ratio is.. near:far
it can be reduced by using small aperture but in the case of macro, the focus area is very near to the lens.
even with DSLR where you can adjust the aperture to really small aperture, you will still get bokeh with macro.

Er.. Is it just me or what , some of the macro shots look like they are taken with an external lens? Yea , just translated it. No wonder the bokeh effect doesn't look like it came from a phone.

I actually wish Sony had maintained the power button size from the Z. Looks much more stylish with the big iconic power button.

i like the raised glass on the front of Z1 but one doubt remains whether the back of Z1 would allows water to leak in after prolong usage...

after hearing a lot of problems in their 2013 smartphones, I wouldn't even try. Their 2011-2012 waterproof smartphones has no complain at all.

This review is misleading if you can't read Vietnamese and didn't do translation.

Those macro shot is additional attached with macro clip support.

Thats y for me these water resistance feature is a precaution in case we accidently dropped the phone into the water. But to test it by submerge it for fun still a bad idea.btw my cousin's acro s also water leaked inside when he was playing with it in the pool. And even samsung s4 active suffered from this issue.

Alot people misunderstood to waterproof phone. Actually waterproof phone is built from those always worry phone kena water ppl. Waterproof doesn't mean you can put in water anytime. If died phone then who's wrong? Alot ppl put phone inside water and end up died and complain Sony waterproof technology is suck. Come on, do you have brain to think? ( I mean those stupid)

Agreed. But blame it on Sony also. Most of their promo ad also showing people playing their phone in pool
