may i know y u chose 8mp instead of 20mp?
*
Coz they do sampling on 8MP while 20MP don't have.
and I don't need that high res image, eat up my storage faster tongue.gif
But of course, I will still shoot 20MP for the sake of comparison and to judge which is better

Any idea how to trigger the slow shutter speed to capture some light tails since cannot manually control the shutter speed ?
*
Edited : Just did a quick googling it seem like need use the Firework mode but only 1s

or use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...oid.camera.lite

The only thing I can think of is use low ISO. Let the camera set it's own shutter.
I havent test it yet but since you mention it, I go experiment it tonight.

Overall quick review

- One of the best camera phone I ever use. Will go to Sunway Pyramid and do more shooting tmrw with it laugh.gif
- ISO seem usable until 800. 1600 started to show grainy and soft image
- Dislike how my setting get reseted everytime I change mode and then go back to previous mode

Using the shutter button will always go to Superior mode.

Using the camera widget at the home screen will go to previous mode that you choosed
*
Ah what i mean is when i at M mode, I use off scene and I set touch focus. When i go to handheld twilight, then go back to off scene, my previous setting got reset-ed

QUOTE(angel-girl @ Oct 4 2013, 10:04 PM)
Will take abit longer time to focus at night?
*
Ya it is focus hunting on lowlight. but still can lock target accurately

Thanks for the reply. what do you think about both device camera?  smile.gif
*
I think Andrewtst will provide you answer next monday since he had tested both device camera smile.gif
Personally I will prefer Sony Xperia Z1 more because of the huge sensor and also those fun mode inside (info eye, AR effect, timeshift burst etc).
You can check photos taken by me using Z1 few pages away

Agree. I think my screen is warm one but I don't really care since it won't kill my eye
