My z ultra n z1 never face tat issue as i always tick the optimized backligh.never happen even once.i blif most of the sony center are putting demo for buyers already.

means that, if untick optimised backlight, it will happen?

yes it have the same issue as XZU. but andrewtst posted the solution before in XZU thread. or just leave the option on all the time and you will be fine

i just tried the stamina mode. according to sony stamina mode will disable data and wifi when your screen is off...

so i tried to add whatsapp to the active apps list to see what will happen if some1 send me a message when the screen is off. the message went through

since no data and wifi how the message is able to send to me ?

you guys can try it out as well, best with other messaging apps and confirm the result

On my XZU, on stamina mode, I selected whatsapp and email to be active.. Whatsapp msg always come in one

i think that whatsapp already obtain access to use mobile date/wifi during installation
so, when you whitelist the app to go through the STAMINA moder filter, it'll also not disable data connection.

but since wifi and data is off by default in stamina mode, how the phone know there's a message gonna come in through whatsapp and enable the data/wifi ?

or data / wifi is on all the time ? then whats the point of stamina mode ?

the point is when you are not select whatsapp and email,the data will off,but now you only select whatsapp and email,the data are still on,but other background apps,will all close.

so that means i select whatsapp now, during stamina mode the wifi / data is kept on ? then no point for turning on stamina mode edi ?

other apps will not be active… if without stamina mode, all other apps can sync and receive/send data

if you not turning stamina mode,it will be more background apps running,battery will run out more faster.compare to stamina mode.

I went to Sony center test.. All of the z1 got yellow tinit.. I compared with z ultra.. End up. No buy... Where can I go buy a no issue unit. I went to klcc and pubulika..
