No. in online sales/trade, nth is safe. even a seller with SAFE TRADER tag might scam you. There's is always a risk in doing online transactions. Therefore there's a LARGE FONT NOTICE always advise Forumer to do COD only.
A con-man can create few accounts at a time and let it went overtime and start scamming when that season falls. ie : Iphone Pre-order Spree. (we know every time apple launch new iphone, there'll be such scam and yet after so many years, there's always ppl fall into it).

In short, there's always a risk and we,as the buyer can minimize this risk by doing proper research or COD to prevent major losses.

btw, the status of Member, be it senior,junior, safe trader n etc means nothing.

bocz LYN is not a place mainly for trading to begin?
+1 to your suggestion. the con case in LYN is juz getting worse day by day. sometimes, i think it is best to shutdown trading in LYN except reputable/long time seller.
or adding measure such as every seller require to register their ID n etc to LYN Authority and the selling thread is only open up once it get approval. but i guess no ppl in LYN mgmt will want such hassle as they are not paid n manage it from their own time. (correct me if im wrong).
