QUOTE(hox @ Sep 23 2013, 09:40 AM) after reading gsmarena review, RM2499 doesn't sounds that expensive anymore lol The RRP is actually around ~RM2200 if we convert from the US prices. Still out of my comfortable buying range. I'm hoping for 1.7-1.8 before snapping it up. Assuming of course a better 9XX version doesn't pop up and sway me into buying that instead.http://m.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_1020-review-989.php |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Sep 23 2013, 10:57 AM) I believe the this category phone replacement is another year at least? The 9XX line undergoes a yearly refresh. The 920 and 925 are in the same generation. A new one should be due anytime soon. The Lumia flagship lines aren't popular enough to have variable storage spaces which is why there are only 32GB versions of the 920 and 16/32GB version of the 925.Unless you're not specifically targeting this category phone from Nokia? After re-considering, since there is no Micro-SD Slot, I think the 64GB version might be better option, but sadly not available here, and the current "unique" price is only for 32GB. If you only took photos, should be OK, but if you also take video especially at Full HD quality, it's gonna be pain when you've run out of space. QUOTE(dauf87 @ Oct 11 2013, 07:21 PM) I don't really understand the plan actually. So I will pay for example RM1700 for the phone & also needed to pay RM88 monthly for 24 months. Am I correct? 1. You get locked into a 24 months contract where you pay RM88 per month to them for their postpaid planJust askin, a bit confuse 2. You pay RM1688 (phone) + RM700 advance payment (also for the phone, but they don't state that) when you signup for a total of RM2388 up front 3. The RM700 will slowly be credited into your celcom billing account. Meaning that RM70 is deducted from your celcom bill per month for 10 months (RM88-70 x 10 months) and then it's back to full RM88 per month. That's how I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong though |

I've tried out the camera in the Nokia store and it's really good. This is probably the phone I will end up buying but it's still too expensive for my tastes, especially considering its low resale value. I'm gonna wait until it's <2k before I consider getting it. 1.5K is probably too much to hope for until the end of next year
