Any improvement on battery life so far using this lumia 1020?

So far after the 2nd day use for me. The battery is far better than the first time I use my 920 which has a lot of battery problem. Maybe I didn't charge the 1020 that much but the battery is alright comparing to 920 on Amber. I have no battery issue though, I find the 1020 battery quite normal. This might be a fact that the 1020 never overheats itself, unlike the 920 which overheats even when charging, 1020 doesn't have this problem when using or charging.

normal day to day usage for me it's good, always got left 10-20% at night. if out for heavy camera use (like for travel trip) the battery grip or powerbank is a must.

guys, what color is your camera grip that you get? it seems every shop only have black color camera grip... what a turn off

Currently all are only available in black. No idea why they only made black one's.
Maybe shortage issues. But doesn't look like there is any shortage unlike 920.

I deal with DirectD before but not online, went to their physical shop. It's often very crowded with people due to their low price offer.

Only one problem with DirectD, though not a major one.

Always ask for the staff name when you called in to enquire about stock availability and pricing. The price they list in the shop is sometimes higher than the offer price they put on LYN. Experience it when buying Note2 when the price they list in the shop is 1799 and the offer price on LYN was 1699.

True, if you go there and ask the price, you may get different price from lelong. Then I look for another staff, and got offer the same price from lelong.
I also heard another customer ask for price, then was shock at the price offered, he then mention that he saw they post the price in lelong was lower, the staff then said 'Oh, then you should said you're lelong customer' (or something like that).

Some may not like their way, but it's business... because it's not following RRP only with no discount, 2 person may purchase at different price for the same device on the same day. I've seen customer's come back and make complain about cheating cause the price he pay was higher after he found out another price. The point is, the customer agreed to pay at the price and the transaction was already done and over.

All Lumia phone's wireless charging is using Qi standard.

but i saw in unboxing youtube, the package doesnt include wirelesss charging... thats y im curious

reason 1020 being light is because it excludes the built-in wireless charging capability.
