from forum wpcentral:
According to Twitter feed its only available for the following countries: UK/Netherlands/FI/Telstra Australia/China Unicom/HK/VTN/PH > https://twitter.com/NokiaSWUpdates/s...10372310716417 Since Ive installed the firmware and Pro Cam update ive noticed the following: Nokia Camera program loads up faster. Yellow tint is pretty much gone. The weird post processing where picture looks nice then few seconds later its garbage seems to be gone. Added a new Photo Review option in settings. Had my Video set at 720p to save space, after update its set back to 1080. i wan update!!! when available at malaysia !!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Oct 29 2013, 10:55 AM) Exactly what we are going to expect. difference review got difference resulthttp://blog.laptopmag.com/iphone-5s-vs-lumia-1020-camera iPhone 5s > Lumia 1020 (color reproduction) before you boo me, here's what iPhone's camera shines over 1020 (in just one single point): + Better white balance judgement aka color reproduction. Things can be easily fix with some photoshop adjustment or just simply apply a filter on it. Nokia promised there will be new changes for the camera firmware which we could be seeing much more natural lights! http://www.whistleout.com/CellPhones/Guide...020-vs-xperiaz1 actually just choose the phone / brand u like, if u think iphone/ samsung is better for u then just go ahead , y hav to go nokia discussion forum here to show tat iphone better lah, samsung better lah..... sorry for my bad english |

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Oct 29 2013, 02:48 PM) I forgive your bad english, please re-read my post, I'd appreciate that. thanks for forgive my bad english, but i still wan to say : Having own a Lumia 900 before and now 920, Windows Phone still faces random white balance issue but the issue was reduced on WP8, not completely gone. If you have been following the PureviewClub, you may notice one of the man behind the PureView camera left Nokia after the launch of Pureview 808, he (Damian Dining) mentioned he prefer natural colors reproduction in favour over the yellowish saturated color which was loved by most of the people. (see your link and compare the result with iPhone 5s, I'm sure you'd prefer the 1020 result if you're one of the big crowd) The photography crowd at least, are happy with this decision on the 808 which stays at natural light reproduction. Nokia basically decided to please the big crowd instead of the photography crowd. How they did with the Lumia 1020 was they tweaked the photos towards a bit yellowish (warm) and saturated, not really a good idea but that won't be a problem any more since the upcoming updates will support raw file and color profile will render towards a much better result. actually u can just direct discuss about nokia white balance / color problem, is not necessary post a link to mention about iPhone 5s > Lumia 1020 color im sorry maybe im too sensitive about tis....
