So far after the 2nd day use for me. The battery is far better than the first time I use my 920 which has a lot of battery problem. Maybe I didn't charge the 1020 that much but the battery is alright comparing to 920 on Amber. I have no battery issue though, I find the 1020 battery quite normal. This might be a fact that the 1020 never overheats itself, unlike the 920 which overheats even when charging, 1020 doesn't have this problem when using or charging.

Currently all are only available in black. No idea why they only made black one's.
Maybe shortage issues. But doesn't look like there is any shortage unlike 920.

Cuz 1020 is just that good

This was taken the day I got back from buying my Lumia 2 days ago.
No time to take any new pictures and seriously no time to even take photos lol!
Will show you guys some amazing shoots this Raya Haji when I go back to Terengganu.

A nice mix of depth in photo from front till the background.
You could see the sharpness of each object from steel walkway to the furthest building.

Ahha.. I've never done this before on my DSLR using gaffer tape.
It's just to remove those dust and clean it right. Don't want it leaving anything.
Doubt i've ever used gaffer tape before lol!

None right now. I shall wait for the official casing to come out.
I like the original one compared to 3rd parties, as it fits just perfectly and makes your Lumia look like your have bought a different coloured Lumia.

Not available yet bro but i'm sure Nokia will sell it in the future, just like other 920 casing which comes in a variety of colours. Official ones are quite good and high in quality and for some reason they don't really shows or tell people on their website that they sell those rubber casing.

It's just my speculation btw, it might not come out but as far as I know it will.
I have 3 cases for my 920 and all fits great and doesn't even show the real colour(yellow) of my phone when you change to other casing(red,cyan,grey).

All the coloured part of your phone will be how the casing is like.
When you use it looks like a normal lumia phone with different colours.
Below is the 920 official cover, so imagine it's the 1020 with a large hole for the hump lens.
Fit just great. My old 920 casing could also fit my 1020 but the hump makes the cover ugly lol
I also doubt they will make one for some reason as the wireless cover looks like the casing already with some parts cut-off

Gorilla Screen has sucked really bad the best was on iPhone 4 and after that everything got worse.
My 920 has a lot of scratches as well, after buying a new one decided to put screen protector till I sell it lol!
There is a lot of protective screen to choose from dude, 920 has been out for a long time and the screen size is the same with 1020. Androids smartphones flagship phone screen protector also works since size is almost the same.

The only thing google is blocking and not allowing is the youtube app

All of the above is some of my most used app on WP8.

This is really not true.
This is a marketing strategy, a company doesn't simply not plan for their product.
They have similar campaign for the 920 too and this means they are trying to push the market to expand.
Competing and trying to make 41mp viral is what I see that they are trying to do, coming from an advertising student.

Plus those who buy at Nokia Store will get the free Gorilla pod anyway.
Don't even need to go to those roadshows... but if you go you can get other free goodies.
And of course taking picture with amoi cantik.

Prebuilt auto setting is already good if you are a regular joe.
It's not really hard to learn ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
If you want to get the best out of your phone I could recommend to use it for a better picture.
Think it like this la, if you are feeling artistic use the manual setting and if you are lazy auto is good too

In this modern day.. Haha Smart TV has become cheap around 1 to 2k for 32inch.
I only use play to. If normal TV usually USb la, there is other ways for normal TV?
This should be interesting. There might be other apps that could enable what you want but I have never explore that part.

I am previously an iOS user and I was bored also with the same OS.
I was using iPhone 4 before upgrading to 920.
The announcement of iPhone 5 was super disappointing and I was like.. What phone should I get next....
Then I tested Android when the first Nexus 7 comes out, I don't really like it that much..sorry.
Ecosystem and all is good as iOS, but the lagginess and bloating in a long run is a big turn off for me.
Then I was like maybe Samsung S4 but damn.. Apple to Samsung? You got to be kidding me.
Still Android and yes lagginess even on Jellybean.. WP never came my mind until I know that 920 camera is awesome.
The smothness and no lag at all of the OS is great and apps was a concern for me, but all the essential apps is already there, all that I need except no instagram, so I just jump to WP. Quite satisfied and glad I made the jump.

Those who don't like Android and love iOS should make the jump, but those who love Android and hate iOS, i'm not so sure haha. Plus if Google services is that important to you might wanna check Microsoft offering they have substitute for each google service like Drive=Skydrive, Outlook=Gmail, Skype=Google Talk, Nokia or Bing Map=Google Map and others.

Whatsapp is already available in WP for a long time. As for FB chat, WP has intergrated FB chat which works together with SMS on WP. Chat are instant and you can set status online or offline. You can also check notifications, status update and check in in WP on Fb without downloading FB app. Just some of my opinions

So everything is fine now.

Very seems normal. Battery need to be a bit worried because well Nokia does have some problem with it.
So far no problem in 1020 but before my 920 a lot of problem before update to Portico.

Most of the time no delay for me. There is some slight delay sometimes.
I think after the notification centre update we should get no more delays hopefully.
