i think it is on par with iphone and samsung... only for low light recording, the 1020 has the difficulties compare with the still pictures.

even with the 920 I never used 1080P video recording, one is because I don't need that much detail and secondly because.. my god the files are HUGE!!!

seriously, to my eyes, day recording, it is on par with iPhone and Samsung...I'm not a fan boy. i tried to take inside the mummy ride and Spielberg studio, with really minimal lighting. well, i can't capture anything worth playing.. but then, seriously, do you have in hand a lumia 1020? ..its a camera phone, not an absolute camera phone. it does a good job, but it still come with limitation..

nothing is perfect bro, but fuuu... everywhere everyone including photography pros praise 1020 is the best, but you say on par with samsung and iphone... cant brain it... lulz... seems that OIS, 41MP and HACC are gimmicks then.

The problem you say is on par bro. 41 megapixel almost 5 times more MP and also a bigger and larger sensor.

well, brain this, it was review by a professional, i am not... not all who buy 1020, suddenly transform into Damian. i just want a phone, to easy taking picture at night or in a low light without tweaking so much and a good daily use for my work. without the other factor(well, i have to know, am i argue with a kid?).... what you said is photography, its an art. Never has i bad mouth the 1020 about the camera module it has..i only said about video recording

i am not a fanboy la brother i use nokia from the 5800, n8 ,n808 and now the lumia 1020... it just to my eyes, for me, daylight video recording is the same for note 3, iphone 5s and lumia 1020. well, i won't post you tube video, you can search it in the internet but then how many people post their own video in this forum?

the 1020 is the best video recorder on a smartphone, period. of course you are entitled to your own personal opinion that it is on par with samsung or iphone, eventhough it contradicts the vast majority of opinions of everyone else, especially iphone and samsung users themselves.

anyway, do spend some time to learn using your 1020 properly imaging and video wise, and you will know whats wrong with opinion regarding it.

Sharper image if you zoom in video mode. It is stunning! Even my L920 can do lossless zoom which no other phones could do! (Note 3 also got but certainly Nokia phones is better in terms of zoom and quality)

I now shoot videos more than taking pictures. Seriously, its great.

if you have ever been inside the Singapore mummy ride, you would understand what i am talking about...and if you have the 1020 with you, if video recording has any tweaking like the camera pro cam, than you should know...emmm what are you saying make no logic.

well, for me, day video recording its very hard to see any difference at all unless you put it side by side.. between note 3 and 1020, i don't see any huge marginal difference. unless you really put any effort into it.
