I personally asked them, why such a fuss when a lot of other media (comics, movies, games) portrayed Thor wrongly too (HINT: Marvel), and it has been like this for a long time.

They said it was because in numerous interviews KRU used the term 'research' so they expect this to be some sort of accurate documentary of their poems and lores.
