Hi Guys,

Sorry for hijack this thread a bit.

Am requesting for any kind samaritan would help to donate blood for my foster dad operation.

My foster dad had an operation back in Medan, on 18 September for kidney stone.
Unfortunately. After 6 days, he had high fever which was only getting better after another 1 week.

However, on 3rd Oct, while meeting he fainted and was sent to Island Hospital Penang.

Doctor found out that the operation done without proper procedure, leading the internal flesh of operation wound to building pus.

Its clearly a infection, and there are still kidney stone left in the kidney.

Doctor had to remove 20% of the kidney and the operation wound left opened for 1 week, which everyday doctor will do suction to clear the pus, and today, after past 2 says no sign of pus and fever, the wound will be stick up.

However, island hospital doesnt have enough blood in their blood bank, which am asking any penangnites can volunteer to donate blood?

My foster dad blood type is B+ which require either +B or O+ donor.

If you keen to help, kindy pm me and i will provide the detail for donation for my foster dad at Island Hospital.

After this operation there will be 2nd operation regards to another conditon..

Oh.. Island even we donate still have to pay lo.. They informed us earlier already. This was because they dont have enough blood stock in their blood bank, they does have, but for a very emergency case only.

If they have enough, 1 pint of blood, 450ml, is rm200.
However if there is donor, they will still charge us rm140... sweat.gif
Reason, they need to charge for administration fee, and for lab test fee, and "washing" the bloodfee sleep.gif"

I said, just use their stock and we pay lo.. But.. Lol, need blood replacement of their stock... Else they wont release..

So, in the end they still untung....
