I guess people from the south, Kajang, Semenyih, etc. will prefer to go this nearer IOI City Mall moving forward.

a very good example nearby is the Mines Shopping ... it was big back then during their grand opening with Mines Wonderland, Hotel and etc. Talk of that time is Mines will be flying high and eventually they went down the drain until a new management took the helm recent years. Mines 2 just beside is a failure though..

Too many reasons why me and lot ppl in Sri petaling, oug, kuchai etc will go to mv. My posts maybe biased to mv but the fact is, I really have to admit mv under igb managment is very superior in mall managment. Never once I see retail unit that goes vacant longer than a week. Vacanted unit immediately occupied and renovated, very fast. I believe alot of retailers are queueing in mv list. Due to this, every now and then theres new excitement in mv, eg: magnum ice-cream, nana greentea and other famous western f&b.

Its a Chinese crowd area with purchasing power..

disagreed on your points. for me, what made MV success is its convention centre. A lot of functions had been held e.g property fair, tourism fair, education fair and etc that really attract crowds. this is its only niche weapon as of now. Other things are dispensable. the emerging ioi city mall will definitely attract kajang people, serdang, seri kembangan, equine park, puchong and even bukit jalil folks who used to lepak at MV during weekends all these while.

didnt really notice it.. but nvm lar... i long time never go there... jam all the way to mv, and taking long time to look for a parking... and jam all the way home again... i rather go IOI mall or sunway...

this temple causes massive traffic jam in MV...IGB should have paid the hindu preist to move the temple somewhere else...and treat them to a nice session in cititel spa for that matter...

The VVIP, which is me said to be one of the reasons for MV being so successful, that why the Management so respect the VVIPs like me.

parking from 11am to 4pm, i paid about rm6.60. It is damn pricey for IOI city mall to charge at such premium price. You shopping mall ain't premium compare to 1utama or midvalley or Sunway Pyramid or the Curve. Furthermore they are charging cheaper than you. You mall is located at isolated place. The rates is not justified according to population density area. Your plantation land converted commercial land is not a premium land like golden triangle land in KL/PJ. The parking rates you are charging is not reasonable.

KLCC weekend parking very reasonable for it's super prime location (expensive after 3 hrs i think). This one wanna make too much out of parking money but cnt provide enough autopay machines.
