QUOTE(UFO-ET @ Nov 17 2014, 09:12 AM) IOI City mall - 1.4 mil Taikor, when will PBJ expected to complete? 3 years time? IOI Mall need time to capture loyal customer before another mega mall kick in. They can't afford to lose Equine, Kinrara, OUG, Puchong, Bukit Jalil and all nearby crowd too early to PBJ.PARADIGM OUG - 1.0 mil (estimated) Pavillion BJ - 2.1 mil Vs Mid Valley - 1.65 mil Garden - 1.0 mil If we study the location of all the malls in entire KV, then we shd know that MV crowd is very much depends on the people who live below federal highway till KLIA Conclusion - among the Big 5 (Sunway, MV, 1U, KLCC, Pavillion), once the southern 3 new malls in operation, MV will be heavily affected Just a personal view This post has been edited by Yamma: Nov 17 2014, 11:34 AM |

Maybe good for business, especially for F&B. |

QUOTE(miss comet @ Dec 2 2014, 04:45 PM) Maybe because of school holiday. Anyway, I also won't go there anymore. I hate crowded F&B. Mines is good place where I can eat anywhere, anytime I want. Plus all pc and phone shops. Geek heaven yes. the feeling when you are having your meal while others are queuing and waiting for you to finish asap is really uncomfortable. |

went to IOI mall last sunday. Structure of parking area is freaking terrible. You won't be able to remember where you park your car unless you remember the code stated on the pillar.
Saw a lot of window shoppers walking around without buying anything (and some with single plastic bag). Quite a number of shop i saw no customer inside the shop. Not a good sign for business to sustain. And so many unknown shop/brand which as a shopper I feel like "what the h3ll are these kind of shops sitting around here". I don't feel like walking in a megamall at all. Maybe the management's idea when IOI opened last year was to ensure all lot is open by then by offering lower rental rate to those unknown shop/brand. Some forumer here bash alamanda. At least I can find a lot of stuff there and know what to expect. Though the size is much smaller, more stuff (used by human) can be found there. Car park also much simple and straightforward. |
