It seem ioi city mall was not the only mall raided by privatized immigration enforcement team, other malls were raided too.
*
Any examples of other mall(s) or news link?
Thanks..

RODENTS ISSUES IN IOI CITY PUTRAJAYA

We were horrified at such sight in Tesco IOI Putrajaya. I wrote an email to Tesco but have yet to hear from them. We actually saw a rodent scampering in a restaurant freaking out the patrons. That rat dashed across the mid section escaped to another restaurant. Obviously IOI Putrajaya lower ground have rodents issues that need to be looked into seriously. The level of hygiene and cleanliness in all the restaurants is questionable after such experience. The thoughts of rats urine & droppings on display racks, running over uncovered vegetables/food in Tesco after lights out raises concern.

Am a regular visitor of Tesco IOI city mall for the past one year and did not observe any sign of rodents. Perhaps need to observe harder.....

One thing I don't like is the smell from the raw meat section. It's really stink and can't stay long to choose and pick the meat l buy.

boss suggest not to buy meat from place like texco..quality nt good n not fresh..

Btw hows the texco performing there.

In general the Tesco layout and size of IOI City mall is smaller than the two "nearby" Tesco outlets at Bkt Puchong and Pusat Bdr Puchong. (The other two are Tesco extra)
Hence, choice and quantity are less than the other two in proportion too.

During evening(this is the time l went), many shoppers visiting, ranging from students, working men/women to house wives. Counter are with moderate queue and the payment kioks are sometime occupied(sometime only. Ramadan month lagi ramai shoppers.)

During non-Ramadan months, there are mall people/workers having "high tea", eating nasi lemak and mee goreng at the canteen section.

Overall the business is reasonable for now.

If the smell is stink at raw meat section, it could possibly means the meat is not fresh..

Yea...maybe the meat is not fresh.
Just need to walk a few more steps away, the smell is gone...

Nope it is not suppose to compare as such. Tesco IOI CityMall is more premier style and general carry more fresh fruit and veges than the normal Tesco. The range of imported items also wider. This is upgraded Tesco.
*
Of course some goods are pricier than its siblings outlet, eg the nasi lemak here is more pricy then the the other two siblings.
Whether it really operates and delivers in a premier style, symptoms like rodents sign, smell etc affects its reputation.

IOI management... haha.... Not really know what they have done to resolve/improve but one thing for sure they have increased the parking rate(for some time already) at RM2 for the first two hours for normal days...

yea... heard about the increase in parking fee as well.. and some commented the rate is more expensive than MV.. hmm.gif

I had a concern spelt in earlier post that the RM2 for first 2hrs during weekdays, is not barely covering a movie.

A short movie lasts about 1.5hrs excluding the advertisement and trailer time. One has to enter and park then rush to buy movie tickets (assuming no long waiting for the lifts).
At the end of the movie, he/she has to rush to pay at the vending machine. Very stressful.

My home also no wifi and no uni5. Phone limited. Can only hope for Wednesday best movie price. Guess who is poorer.
IOI city has one of the relatively newest cinemas...
So it's a good choice. But have to factor-ed in parking rate.

If like this, gone case. Sooner or later, the mall has to close down.

Doubt this mall will close down....
Those malls at USJ1 (as you have quoted in other thread), are in relatively higher risk closing down...
