At this early stage, it is for southern kv ppl. People who used to go to MV, 1u & subway pyramid can go to this mall now. People who seldom go to far away mall can also go to this mall coz it is nearby. Shopping and spending habits can change.

For me, I still prefer my regular malls such as MV, ikea & pyramid. Mostly coz they are nearer to my home. Work wise, I prefer to visit ioi city mall, dpulze, then only alamanda & Jusco SK.

Maybe icm phase 2 will be more special that ppl from far away will want to visit.

Eerr, of coz it is like other mall la like mv or 1u, maybe now it is still smaller compare those two. Not sure what is your expectation on new shopping mall. For those people who live nearby off coz they will visit this more often than mv and 1u. It is a hype for people who stay nearby.

yeah.. me too.. never ever step in to MV and 1U anymore.. Sunway pyramid still okay.. coz its pretty near... but will still consider going sunway too.. coz need to pay toll...    IOI City Mall toll free for southern ppl...

do u know upon completion of ioi city mall phase 2, it is going to be 2.4M sf NLA? which is even bigger than MV and 1U? then u don't like the mall again?

Taiwanese are really over confidence, their economy is already in deep shit, still heading up so high to preserve their pride.
IOI is offering 2X of the market price to grab the 37% stake, lease remaining 40 years, it seems not a good deal to acquire, but definitely there is a hidden agenda between these 2 giant corporations.

if you noticed, nite market is a survival kits for most local there. Without nitemarket, those city hunter just barely afford to live there. You can check how hard for them to get a own home in city.

Taiwan a lot natural disaster. mainly bad weather and humid all year round. this affect the FDI.
